Add-On Course - Skill based programme INTRODUCTION TO REMOTE SENSING, GNSS AND GIS

Department of Environment Science and Management offered skill based add on course on "Introduction to Remote Sensing, Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) and GPS with the aim of enabling the students to acquire practical knowledge in using various GIS softwares and equip them to use various image analysing tools.

Expected Outcome of the course is:

1) Comprehend fundamental concepts and data processing of GIS with thorough practicals.

2) Familiarize with remote sensing data acquisition and processing using image analysis tools.

3) Training in Global Positioning System and processing of its end products by analysing spatial relationships.
