Chemistry Association Inauguration - 2024

Date: 06 December 2024 The Chemistry Association for the academic year 2024-25 was inaugurated on 6th December 2024 at the Seminar Hall, Sree Sankara College, Kalady. The event was presided over by Prof. Dr. Anilkumar M., Principal of the college. The chief guest for the event was Dr. D. S. Prameela Devi, Retired Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry. The inauguration began with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest, accompanied by other dignitaries. A book edited by Dr. Vivek Ramakrishnan, Assistant Professor, and published as part of an SERB (DST) National Workshop, was released during the event. The book was presented to the Chief Guest by Principal and later donated to the Chemistry Department library. Felicitation speeches were given by: Dr. Manjula Krishnan, Head of the Department, Mr. Akshat K. P., Chairperson and Amina Faisal, UUC. The cultural session included a dance performance by Ms. Sreelakshmi S. Nair and team and a song by Dr. Jeena C. B., Faculty Member, Department of Chemistry. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Athul Krishna, Joint Secretary, Chemistry Association, followed by a group photograph and a tea break. The event was a grand success, fostering academic collaboration and creativity among students and faculty in the Department of Chemistry. |
