'Ghatak 2.0' the NCC Fest at Sree Sankara College on November 9, 2023
 | The Sree Sankara College NCC unit under the 22 Kerala Battalion NCC organised an NCC Fest 'Ghatak 2.0' on November 9, 2023. Cadets from different NCC units across Kerala participated in the events organised as part of the Fest. The Fest hailed as a magnificent display of military discipline and camaraderie. The event was graced by the distinguished presence of the Administrative Officer of the 22 Kerala Battalion NCC, Eloor, Maj. Dween Paul and received a powerful Presidential Address from Principal Preethi Nair. Lt. Rajy Ramakrishnan delivered a motivating felicitation speech. As a part of the fest, various inter-collegiate events were organized, showcasing the talents and skills of NCC cadets. These included the Contingent Parade, Obstacle Training Competition, and the fiercely contested Tug of War. One of the highlights of the event was an impressive exhibition featuring rifles and other military-related items. A staggering 500 cadets from different colleges participated enthusiastically in these competitions, demonstrating their dedication and determination. The competition results were as follows: 1. Contingent Parade: - 1st Prize: St. Peter's College, Kolenchery 2nd Prize:Sree Sankara College, Kalady 2. Obstacle Training Competition: - 1st Prize(SD): St. Peter's College, Kolenchery -2nd Prize:Sree Sankara College, Kalady - 1st Prize(SW): SD College, Alappuzha -2nd Prize:Sree Sankara College, Kalady 3. Tug of War: - 1st Prize: Sree Sankara College, Kalady - 2nd Prize: St Peters College, Kolenchery The event celebrated the true spirit of NCC and fostering a sense of unity among the participating colleges. It showcased the exceptional dedication and training of the cadets, exemplifying the ethos of discipline, teamwork, and leadership that NCC instils.
