Department Profile

The undergraduate department offering the degree program was founded in 1957, with Professor V. Radhakrishnan serving as the first head of department. The department currently has four faculty members and one lab assistant. Our laboratory and museum are well-equipped and maintained. Throughout the three-year duration of the course, we provide both theoretical and practical assistance to each student to ensure successful completion of the program. Field visits are also included in the curriculum. Additionally, the faculty members support extracurricular opportunities for students.
