FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME ON PERSONAL FINANCE AND INVESTMENT   The  Postgraduate Department of Commerce of Sree Sankara College, Kalady in association with STRIDE, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam has organised an Online Faculty Development Programme (One Week Duration) on the topic “Personal Finance and Investment” from 8-14 December, 2021. This FDP provided an insight on the personal financial planning and significance of investment process and role of stock markets. This FDP focused on the understanding on financial markets, Behavioral biases, security pricing, market anomalies, trading platforms, Mutual Funds, Financial Derivatives, Financial Risk Management  and conceptual understanding about market dynamics. The target group of the programme is faculty members of various colleges and other interest groups like students both UG and PG, research students, Market traders, Investors and Personal Finance consultants, Broking individuals may also be benefitted from the programme. Inaugural Session on 08.12.2021 at 8.30 am The One week Faculty Development Programme, on the topic  "Personal Finance and Investment” organised by The Post Graduate Department of Commerce, Sree Sankara College, Kalady in association with UGC-MHRD-STRIDE, MG University was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Sabu Thomas, the honorable  Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam on 8th December 8, 2021 at 8.30 AM. Smt. Sharanya Prathapan, Head of the Department of Commerce welcomed the dignitaries. Dr. A Suresh, Principal of Sree Sankara College presided over the event.  The Managing Director of Sree Sankara College, Sri. K Anand, Dr. Preethi Nair, IQAC Coordinator of Sree Sankara College, Sri.
