   National Level Conference and Research Paper Presentation Competition    2023                             “Limelight of Amrit Kaal Plan-Union Budget 2023-24”                                                               Organized by                        PG Department of Commerce on 3rd March 2023      National Level Conference and Research Paper Presentation Competition    2023                             “Limelight of Amrit Kaal Plan-Union Budget 2023-24”                                                             Organized by                        PG Department of Commerce on 3rd March 2023 Report on National Level Conference and Research Paper Presentation Competition 2023 The Post-Graduation Department of Commerce, Sree Sankara College, Kalady in collaboration with Kerala State Higher Education Council, successfully organized the National Level Conference and Research Paper Competition 2023 on 03 March, 2023 at Sri Chandrasekhara Bharathi Theertha Seminar Hall. The main theme of the event was “ Limelight of Amrit Kaal Plan-Union Budget 2023-’24 ” The programme began at 10 am with a melodious prayer song by Ms. Aiswarya Reghunath & Ms.Sandra Sadanandan, DC II Tax. On this auspicious occasion Dr.Smrithi Ashokan, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, Sree Sankara College, Kalady welcomed the gathering. Dr.Preethi Nair, Principal, Sree Sankara College Kalady gave the presidential address. The chief guest of the day Dr. P. Arunachalam Professor and Head, Department of Applied Economics, Cochin University of Science and Technology inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the lamp followed by his Inaugural address on the topic “Challenges of Amrit Kaal Plan in India”. Addressing the students, he pointed out that as manufacturing becomes more and more technology driven, workers will need to have higher skill-sets and cognitive abilities. This means that the importance of a well-educated workforce for a manufacturing success story is more important than it has ever been. Distinguised Guest of Honour Dr.C.K.Shankaranarayanan,Professor and Head(Rtd.) Dept. of Applied Economics ,Cochin University of Science and Technology shared his insights on the main theme of the event. Sri S.Prasad, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Economics rendered the felicitation. The inaugural ceremony came to an end with the words of gratitude by Mrs.S.Gowri Antherjanam, HOD, Dept. of Commerce, Sree Sankara College, Kalady .The guests were presented the token of appreciation towards the end of each session. The Research Paper Presentation Competition began shortly after the inaugural ceremony. It was chaired by Chief Guest Dr.P. Arunachalam, Guest of Honour Dr.C.K.Shankaranarayanan and Sri.Sambhu Namboothiri Former Principal ,SSC. The event was attended by 57 participants and featured 22 presentations by the aspirants from various institutions including CUSAT ,CMS College,Kottayam ,KUFOS,S.N College Alathur and PG dept. of Commerce, SSC,Kalady as well . Having carefully evaluated the research papers, the judges selected Ms. Anna Rose Joshy, II M.Com, Sree Sankara College as the winner of the Best Research Paper Award and presented her a cash prize. The competiton provided an apt platform for research aspirants to present their works and receive recognition for their contributions. The panel of judges congratulated the winner and all other participants for their excellent efforts and encouraged them to continue their research endeavors. Altogether the entire programme was beneficial and inspirational for the further insights.The programme concluded at 1.30 pm. The entire programme was compared by Ms. Gouri Ajay and Ms. Jannat A Salam ,III B.Com , Sree Sankara College,Kalady.                                                                                                      Other Supporting Documents (If any) (Certificates, MoU, Letters, etc)
