Research Facilities

The Department of Economics was upgraded as a Research Centre of Mahatma Gandhi University in 1989. The Centre has produced 27 Ph.D. degrees to date and is the oldest Research Centre of the college. At present, there are six research guides in the Centre and twenty research scholars pursuing research. The Centre conducts six-monthly progress review presentations of research scholars and also provides expert guidance from experienced external subject specialists. In addition, it organizes research workshops and seminars for scholars to enhance their academic and research skills.
