The Department of Biotechnology, Sree Sankara College, Kalady, organized a seminar on “Innovation-Driven Entrepreneurship in Biotechnology” with the aim of inspiring students to explore entrepreneurial opportunities in the rapidly evolving biotechnology sector.

The programme was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Anilkumar M, Principal of the college, who emphasized the crucial role of innovation and entrepreneurship in shaping the future of biotechnology. The keynote session was delivered by Dr. Beena P. S., Director and CEO of Omicsgen Life Sciences, Kochi, who shared valuable insights into the journey of transforming scientific research into successful business ventures.

The seminar focused on the commercialization of biotechnology research, highlighting key aspects such as product development, regulatory requirements, funding opportunities, innovation management, and market-entry strategies.
