The Biotechnology Association, BIONEXUS, of Sree Sankara College, Kalady, organized an Alumni Interaction Programme titled “From Vision to Mission” with the objective of motivating students and creating awareness about higher education opportunities abroad, particularly in the field of biosciences.

The programme was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Anilkumar M, Principal of Sree Sankara College, who emphasized the importance of setting clear academic goals, continuous learning, and making the best use of global educational opportunities.

The highlight of the event was an inspiring interaction session by Ms. Hanna Alias, an alumna of the Department of Biotechnology (2020–2023 batch), who is currently pursuing her M.Sc. in Molecular Bioscience at TU Dresden, Germany. She shared her academic journey, experiences of studying abroad, and valuable insights into the application process, scholarship opportunities, documentation requirements, and international academic culture.

The session provided students with practical guidance on pursuing higher studies overseas and offered a realistic perspective on academic and research opportunities available in international institutions. An interactive discussion followed, during which students actively engaged with the alumna and clarified their queries regarding admissions, language requirements, funding opportunities, and academic preparation.

The programme was highly informative and inspiring, encouraging students to broaden their academic horizons and confidently pursue their aspirations. It successfully fulfilled its objective of motivating students to transform their visions into meaningful missions and explore global opportunities in higher education and research.
