The Science Club organized an event on 18 March 2026 in the Zoology Lab, featuring an inaugural session followed by an invited talk by Dr. Femi Anna Thomas, Assistant Professor, UC College, Aluva, titled “Hidden Life, Frozen Secrets: Microbial Tales from the Arctic and Antarctic”. During the session, the speaker emphasized that this field offers opportunities for students from all streams to explore and contribute to scientific research. The program concluded with an interactive session and a vote of thanks.
The Science Club organized a collage competition on the theme “Women in Science: Powering India’s Scientific Future”. Participants created creative and original collages using various materials such as newspapers, magazines, and printed images. The activity aimed to highlight the contributions and importance of women scientists in shaping the nation’s scientific progress. Entries were evaluated based on creativity, relevance to the theme, presentation, and the message conveyed.
